Instagram may seem a bit daunting for some businesses however it should not be over looked. Instead of treating it like an online catalogue for your products and services, why not take a leaf from these guys books to increase your Instagram following?
Love them or hate them Coca Cola knows its audience and what they like to see. Their products generally take a back seat and play a supporting role in the photos uploaded to Instagram. Instead Coca Cola focus on showing young, energetic people having fun, whilst also enjoying a refreshing can/bottle of Coke. Whilst Coca Cola has multiple Instagram accounts to better focus on its target audience, here are my favourites:
Chimps do feature strongly on this account, however there is very limited connection to the product. Instead Mailchimp focus on creating strong knit group of brand local followers.
Frooti takes a different look at using Instagram than Coca cola and Mail Chimp. Instead of focusing on the people it focuses on the product using beautiful sharp imagery. The bright colours draw you in but the curious nature of their designs keep you scrolling through.
The American Express Instagram doesn’t focus on cards or money; instead they draw your attention to the Lifestyle you could lead with an Amex card (and good credit!). On top this they also introduce rewards to customers to encourage engagement.
Everyone has heard of the small yet versatile camera company. What better way to show off the quality of your product than with a mixture of marketing and customer material. Users post their videos and photos of high adrenaline sports and fantastic views.
p.s a special mention should go to Sharpie! Whilst the feed does include some product images, it mainly uses Instagram to display art and craft products created using Sharpies.
